*** I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE- I have opted to be non-participating with insurance so that I may practice to the fullest extent of my license without concern for insurers definitions for my scope of practice. When I practiced as a participating provider, insurers repeatedly denied payment for care I provided stating it did not fall within their definition of occupational therapy practice. For this reason I have opted to provide care outside the rules of insurers who unjustly limit occupational therapists (and many other medical providers) scope of practice. Rest assured the therapy you receive while under my care is fully within the scope of practice for Occupational Therapists as defined by the American OT Association (AOTA) and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
